Postcards home

Dear Dave,

this place is on the move. So much construction, everywhere I go there are cranes towering over the city.

The casinos are massive here, like small townships. You could get lost in the maze of gambling halls, shops and building facades.

The lights are always on in these cities. Of course things shops close, people go to sleep but the place is always breathing, even in the night. The street sweepers and garbage trucks keep me up at night. Despite the heat, I close the window seeking aural solace from the bombardment of sound that often awakes me.

I’ll see you soon anyway, can’t wait to meet up.
